This north-eastern state of Arunachal is still a virgin territory, beautiful and ravishing in natural beauty. You shall ride over highway, mountains, off roads, rocks and ice (not snow) to get to the land of Monpa’s and mountains of Tawang- the blessed valley of North East. You will embark the ride in Guwahati, following with Nameri, Dirang, Tawang, Madhuri Lake and the famous Bum la Pass. While the ride shall be tough, the memories would be lifetime memory.

Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1- Guwahati - Nameri

We welcome you to the action-filled ride. We meet at the meetup point to roadmap discussion and a little chit-chat with fellow riders. The rental bikes will be allotted there. Please test ride the bike and notify any issue with the team. Later, we will depart from the capital city. We would be riding to Nameri wildlife reservoir. Enjoy the greenery on the way as you will cruise through a very smooth highway. Balakpong road stretch is an amazing stretch to ride, covered by trees on both sides and Brahmaputra River flowing elegantly on one side. One can never resist the tempting urge to fall in love. Overnight at Nameri.

Day 2 - Nameri - Dirang

After spending the night at the reservoir, today we would be riding to Dirang. Say hello to curvy roads and beautiful mountains in this 165 Km ride. After a blissful ride on this day, we would be staying in camps today alongside river Kameng surrounded by the beautiful hills. Enjoy the evening sipping a cup of tea at Dirang. Try having the local brewed rice & millet beer called ARA. Cheers! Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 3 - Dirang - Tawang

We would be riding towards Tawang today after breakfast which is 135 km from Dirang. make a halt at Sela Pass, which is located at 13,700ft above the sea level. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes; snow filled mountains and foggy roads along the way. Pay homage to Jaswantgarh War Memorial. Check-in to your hotels after reaching Tawang and get refreshed. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4 - Tawang Local

After breakfast at the hotels, we go out for a day full of adventure. Twang is full of beautiful monasteries- Visit Tawang Monastery which is the largest monastery in India and the second largest in the world, visit the Urgelling Monastery which is the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama (born Tsangyang Gyatso). Later, head towards Chakzam village for a short adventure ride where you would find a hanging bridge which was hand- made 560 years before with iron wires. You can also watch the sound show in the evening at the War Memorial of Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 5 - Tawang - Bumla - Tsungeshwar - Tawang

On this day, we will head to the edge of India. Firstly, we will be riding to a heavenly lake -Tsungeshwar Lake; also known as Madhuri lake (The lake was renamed so after the shooting of Bollywood movie Koyla, starring Madhuri Dixit). After admiring the beauty of the lake while sipping tea of Army Cafe, we will continue to China Border to the Bumla pass. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 6 - Tawang - Bomdila

We would be the beautiful Tawang today and would ride downhill towards Bomdilla. We would be visiting Jung waterfall which is 100 meters high, Apple and Kiwi Gardens and Kameng River on the way back to Bomdilla. Overnight at Bomdilla.

Day 7 - Bomdila - Guwahati

This is a long ride day. We would be riding back from where we have started. We start early in the morning to reach Guwahati before dark. We would be reaching Guwahati after riding 330 km which will include both mountains and plain roads. Check-in to your hotel rooms after reaching Guwahati. Get freshen up and gather for the tour completion ceremony where all of us would be sharing our experiences.

Day 8 - Depart

After breakfast, we will continue to our lives with heart-warming memories of the ride
