The entire valley is located between 3000 to 4600 meters. It is cold and barren land. With red stripes running across the flat-roofed white houses, the valley offers unique landscapes. Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Arrival at Manali

Manali Alt. - 2000 m

The best way to reach Manali? The best way is to travel by road. You can take a private taxi / book a seat in a semi-sleeper Volvo bus from Delhi or Chandigarh. Once you have arrived at the Manali bus stand, take a small taxi to the specified hotel. Our team at the hotel will assist you with check-in. After checking, you may utilise the rest of the day to explore. Places and experiences not to miss - cafe hopping in Old Manali, Hidimba Devi temple, paragliding at Solang or trek to Jogini waterfall. Take a local commute to We will meet in the evening for an orientation. Bikes will allotted after the orientation session. Check the allotted bikes & notify issues that need a fix. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 2 - Manali to Jibhi

Manali Alt. - 2000 m Jibhi Alt. - 1210 m

After breakfast, we will leave the Kullu Valley. Please assemble in the parking to confirm your luggage has been loaded in the backup vehicle. We will ride alongside the Beas River till we cross Kullu. Later, we will take a narrow bridge to the other side of the river at Bhuntar. After crossing Bhuntar, we will cross a dark tunnel to the Beas-Sainj confluence. From there, we will ride on narrow mountain roads to Jibhi surrounded by a breathtaking valley. The ride is exciting at the same time. You can spot pine trees along the road. Witness the water turning clearer as you ride along the pine tree jungle. Enjoy the yet uncommercialised heaven in the lap of the mountains. Upon reaching Jibhi, take a walk to the Jibhi waterfall. Later, come back to spend a splendid evening by the river which flows near the stay. Overnight stay at Jibhi.

Day 3 - Jibhi – Sangla

Jibhi Alt. - 1200 m Sangla Alt. - 2621 m

If you wake up early, trek to the small river. After breakfast, we will endeavour to the Kinnaur valley. You will ride on the narrow roads climbing up to the Jalori Pass. The road at some points is very steep. Even the Himalayas struggle to power the wheels. Take a picture once you have made it to the top. We will start descending on the narrow roads to the Shimla. Witness the apple farms with a house made of mud, wood and stone. There are numerous waterfalls on the way. There is one waterfall without any visible source of water. At one point, we will cross the Sutlej River and meet the two-lane highway. We will ride on this smooth road with beautiful landscapes to Rampur. After Rampur, we will ride the cliffhanger road to the Kinnaur valley. Pose for the welcome photograph at Kinnaur Rock gate. Be watchful of the rolling stones falling from the mountains. Do not forget to capture a snap of the beautiful arch bridge near Tranda. Ride on the end of the mountain to reach Karcham Dam. The beautiful highway will turn into a narrow single-lane road. Once the vehicle starts climbing the narrow road after the dam, turn around to see the stunning sunset. You might have seen the videos of this road in multiple places as 'The scariest road of India'. Enjoy the natural charm of the place and the warmth of hospitality extended by the inhabitants of the old villages. Overnight at Sangla Valley which houses apple orchards.

Day 4 - Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa

Sangla Alt. - 2621 m Kalpa Alt. – 2960 m

Sangla is famous for its Apple Orchards. You have something great if haven't taken a morning walk into the woods and serene farms. After a good breakfast and a warm cup of tea, we will head out towards the Indo-Chinese border village surrounded by the white mountains. Enjoy the view of the Blue waters of the Baspa River near the Raksham village. The road to the Indo-Chinese border is narrow and broken in many parts. The cliffhanger view of the valley is the one breathtaking part of the Spiti Adventure. Upon reaching Chitkul, enjoy the view with a cup of coffee or a walk to the river. The village has got a charm to keep you in awe. You will fall short of storage taking photographs here. After lunch, we will ride on the same road till Sangla. Later, we will take the deadliest patch of the journey- a narrow cliffhanger road. The thrill will continue till the Raksham Bridge. Later, we will head back to the Baspa - Sutlej confluence to catch up with the national highway to Kalpa. Enjoy the sunset at the suicide point and the view of Kinnar-Kailash. Overnight at the Kalpa.

Day 5 - Kalpa - Kaza

Kalpa Alt. – 2960 m Kaza Alt. – 3800 m

Rise and shine with the view of the Kinner Kailash. The dreamy land is as beautiful as heaven. After breakfast, we will ride to the headquarters of Spiti Valley. The roads to Pooh are smooth like the warm sunrise. You will feel the adrenaline gushing through your veins. Don't act on those, control your speed. Watch out for the rolling stone coming down the mountain. Ride on the winding twisty roads with the most stunning views. Slowly the mountains will turn brownish with lesser vegetation with every passing mile stop. The barren lands of Spiti Valley welcome you to Khab with a stunning view of the merger of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers. Turns by turn, the horizon and the mountain peaks will inch closer. The road will become steeper to Nako. Grab a bite of energy at the Nako top. Later, we will continue our expedition to Kaza. You will ride on the dirt trail with a steep descent along the Spiti River. Later, we will glide through the beautiful road via Tabo. After reaching Kaza town, you may relax under the stars with the enchanting sound of the Spiti River. Overnight stay Kaza. Take a walk in the old Kaza and try buckthorn drink and Thiang Mo (Buckwheat bread) at homestay cafes.

Day 6 - Kaza- Langza - Hikkim - Komic - Kaza

Tabo Alt. – 3800 m Kaza Alt. - 4587 m

We need to start very early today. It's a long day. At first, you will visit the world's highest post office at Hikkim. The short ride is good enough to give you an adrenaline rush. Send a postcard to the loved ones (which might reach them in the next three months). Later, we will visit the highest village connected to a motorable road - Komic at 15027 ft. Collect and witness the beautiful sea fossils. The beautiful town sits surrounded by snowcapped mountains. Afterwards, we will head to meet Buddha at Langza. The Buddha statue sits on the top of the villages looking into the mesmerising valley and smiling at you. Try ginger lemon tea with almonds and apricots at a nearby cafe. Towards the end of the day, pay a visit to the Key Monastery & imbibe the prayer hymns in you. Overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 7 - Kaza - Chandra Tal

Kaza Alt. - 3800 m Chandra Tal. – 4250 m

We will start riding Moon Lake. We will ride to one of the highest suspension bridges in the world at 4150 m situated at Chichcam. Apart from being the Most Instagramable place, the bridge is wow for its 150m deep gorge. (Imagine dropping a stone which takes 16 seconds to touch the water). We will continue the ride on one of the most scenic routes of the ride to Losar via Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Take a sip of tea at the last tea point. We will ride on the most scenic route of the ride. The views on the road are stunning. You ride on the dirt, high cliffs, water crossing, sharp turns, blind spots etc. Once you have crossed the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, we will get to a tarred road. We will take the tarred road to the last village. We will ride a smooth road for a couple of kilometres and then to the broken road. You get the chance to ride on the route where Royal Enfield organises offroading races. Upon reaching the Kunzum La at 14931 Ft, take a minute to take blessings at Kunzum Mata Temple. We will continue descending towards Chandratal on a road suitable just for one car. We will leave the Manali highway and take right towards Chandrataal. Ride along the small tributary of the Bhaaga River to reach the serene lake. Park your horses with wheels at the last motorable point & hike the lake for 2 km. The hike is easy but tiring to get there. Witness the ultimate time-lapse of The Moon Lake. We will later ride to the campsite & enjoy the coldest night with a warm supper.

Day 8 - Chandra Tal - Manali

Chandra Tal Alt. - 4250 m Manali Alt. - 2000 m

The Chandra tal night stay is often feared by tourists. you did experience the same last night (cold temperature and low oxygen level). After being mesmerised by the sunrise and heavy breakfast, we gear up to leave for Manali. Ride on the same 'Just one vehicle road' till you join the Manali Kaza highway. Upon reaching the turn, we will take a right towards Manali. Continue on the broken downhill road to reach a bridge Enjoy a warm meal at Chacha-Chachi Dhaba before we explore the offroad heaven. This dhaba has acted as the last shelter as well as the rescue office. The dhaba is popular for its warm hospitality in the frozen land. After the meal, we will ride on the road of big boulders and river stones. Saddle through the bumpiest path with many surprises till Chhatru. You will experience one notch up for the offroading you saw in Ladakh. After crossing a few mountains and a 9-long Atal tunnel, we will make it to Manali. We enjoy the moments of the trip at the dinner table at the hotel. Overnight at Manali.

Day 9 - Departure - Manali
