Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Siliguri - Phuentsholing

We request you reach Siliguri Airport before 12 in the afternoon and meet our team. We will head for the Phuentsholing in a coach/car after the group has arrived. Enjoy the journey to Phuentsholing with the views of tea gardens and dense forests till we reach. We will try to procure the Visa same day. Get the scenic joys of the beautiful evening with the splendid sunset near the Indo-Bhutanese border, Phuentsholing city. Dinner and stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - Phuentsholing - Thimphu

After breakfast, we will complete the immigration formalities at the border. The roads are picturesque yet curvy, zigzag and full of blind turns. Bike or Car, no matter which vehicle you are on, you will enjoy riding on the flawless road surrounded by lush green hills. Overnight stay at the Capital city of Bhutan - Thimphu.

Special Note - You are requested to carry all the necessary documents. The Visa approval or disapproval is purely subject to Bhutan Tourism Council and beyond our control. An Indian passport is a must with at least 6 Months of validity.



Day 3 - Thimphu Local

The bikes will be allocated to you in the morning. It's the day to explore Thimphu, the administrative and spiritual centre of the nation. Witness the architecture of Dzongs (Castle-Monastery) in the town. The Tashichho Dzong has always been the seat of Druk Desi (The head of the City government). Later visit the Buddha Dordema, a whopping 52m bronze statue and the Simtoka Dzong, which was built in 1629 and is still in its original form. Go on a shopping spree in the local and buy handcrafted gifts for your loved ones (park your bike in the specified parking zone only). Overnight stay at Thimphu Hotel.

Day 4 - Thimphu - Punakha

It is a blissful day for riders. After breakfast, move away from the glam sham of the modern town to the exquisite rural vibrance. You will ride in the valley with views irresistible for Instagram photos. We will take a brief stop at The Druk Wnagyal (at Dochu La pass). Dochu La pass is at 3100m above sea level (the highest point on our trip and gives a splendid view of the Himalayan ranges (Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan as seen from there). Be respectful to the martyred soldiers and pay homage to 108 Chortens. Later, unwind in the beautiful rural Bhutan sceneries to Punakha Valley. Try river rafting at the male and female rivers or take a bike ride to the Punakha Dzong or the suspension bridge. Overnight at Punakha

Day 5 - Punakha - Paro

Leaving Punakha, we continue the journey on the serpentine-like curves of the Paro Highway. Breath-taking viewpoints are in abundance on this road. This hill road section is famous for sudden visibility drop when you ride in the clouds (at times below 5-meters. Riding is fun on this route. After arriving at Paro, take a walk into the cultural monument city of Bhutan (Rinpung Dzong is a must-visit place). Enjoy one of the coldest nights of the trip at Paro.

Day 6 - Paro - Taktsang (Tigers Nest)

After breakfast, we will leave for Tiger's Nest. Wake up early to witness the best sunrise of your life. We will take a short ride to the base point. Leave the bike and hike for roughly 2 hours and ascend 1700 ft for the first view of the Monastery. You will attain solace at the Monastery; meditate, read and look for inner peace in the centuries-old manuscripts. We suggest you try local dishes for lunch at Tiger's Nest Café. We head back to Paro to enjoy the sunset at the river bank. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 - Paro - Siliguri

On this day, we travel to the Indo-Bhutanese Border on familiar terrains. On the way to Phuentsholing, we will leave our Bhutan-registered bikes near the Chuzom bridge and take a seat in the Car/ Coach. Upon reaching the Indo - Bhutan border (Phuentsholing), we will change the Bhutanese vehicle to an India-registered car/ coach. Celebrate the successful trip completion in the evening with the gang with a sumptuous meal and Dhamaal. Overnight at Siliguri.

Day 8 - Departure from Siliguri

Finally, after such a refreshing journey through beautiful nature & rich culture, it is time for goodbye. Bid bye to everyone and continue to the Airport for the return journey. Tashi Delek. Log Jay Gay!
